Mainstay Suites Cedar Rapids North - Marion

The staff was friendly and accommodating .

The floors were filthy, and the kitchen area had not been cleaned properly. I found hair in the shower and sink, unacceptable. To top it all off, the fire alarms went off for no apparent reason.

Brand-new rooms with fold out couch and separate bedroom, as example and amicable stuff. With a microwave, coffee & tea making machines, and a fridge. Location - comfortable short walk to a quiet area of town and the mall and the grocery store.

Room smelled moldy. Left after one night.

Family with children, decent stay

I really liked the kitchenette in the room! It made it easy to prepare some meals and save money. The night shift worker was super nice too, she helped me with everything I needed!

It wasn't exactly a steal, but it was still acceptable.

We booked a one-bedroom suite as we were visiting local attractions, including a nearby park. The room had a nice layout and was convenient for our family of six. The common areas, especially around the pool, were not well maintained, with trash left around and kids running wild. It was disappointing as it detracted from the stay, but the layout of the suite was spacious enough for family gatherings.

Comfortable bed and 24-hour reception were great, but laundry facilities were lacking.

Decent Stay with Room for Improvement

During my family stay, we enjoyed the spacious Queen Suite with a well-equipped kitchenette. Be prepared for humidity, as towels take time to dry.

Location: the hotel was right by a quiet area, restaurants and close to the mall. The staff was very amiable, helped with every request: )

The suite was spacious with a good layout, and the bathroom had great water pressure,, which was refreshing. Staff was friendly, and there was decent parking available.

So I stayed in the One-Bedroom Queen Suite for 3 nights. The room had a comfy layout, but man, it smelled like weed the whole time. There were bugs in the room, and the sink was clogged. The remote was broken too, and I found dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Plus, the mattress was super thin, like sleeping on wires. Definitely not what I expected.

The Queen Suite I stayed in was spacious and thoughtfully equipped with a kitchenette. The continental breakfast offered a variety of options, including fresh pastries and an assortment of juices, a great way to start the day. The 24-hour indoor pool and workout center provided excellent facilities to unwind after a long day of meetings.

The couch in the room was in poor condition, disappointing.
